Slow cooker???

So Rich bought me a slow cooker for Xmas. I knew he'd bought a kitchen appliance because he did his Xmas shopping right at the last minute and he came in with a HUGE bag from Argos with an obvious cardboard box in it.

I didnt peek, but I knew it was kitchen stuff..

He did it well though, he gave me the present from the kids first, it was a beautiful necklace and I was shocked to be honest. Rich doesnt usually do "bling" as Angie calls it.

Then he gave me the slow cooker and we all laughed including Mum...infact i was still laughing when John gave her a smoothie maker - kitchen appliances all round!!

Then we're sitting a few days later watching the Graham Norton Xmas special and one of the guests is Lorraine Kelly, he asked whats the worst Xmas gift she ever got and what did she say??


yes.....

a slow cooker.


Rich curled up laughing and it was truly a classic....it can only happen to him.

So now I feel that as Lorraine Kelly said on national television that the worst present in the world to receive is a slow cooker that means that Rich surely must owe me another present....
